A man was fatally shot Monday in Huntington Park, and an investigation was underway.
Officers were sent to the 6300 block of Santa Fe Avenue about 2:40 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which was assisting the Huntington Park Police Department in the investigation.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the wounded man, who died at the scene. No arrests were reported.
