A fire damaged three mobile homes in San Fernando Tuesday and left a man hospitalized with serious burns, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the Orange Grove Mobile Home Park, in the 1600 block of Celis Avenue, shortly before noon, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire destroyed one mobile home and damaged two adjacent ones, Humphrey said. Firefighters doused the flames in 46 minutes.
"One adult male civilian who sustained significant burn injury to his face and hands, was taken to an area hospital by LAFD Paramedics in serious condition," Humphrey said.
No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
"The LAFD has proudly protected the incorporated and independent 2.37- square-mile city of San Fernando with around-the-clock fire and emergency medical services under contract since 1979," Humphrey said.
