An argument between two men resulted in a shooting that wounded one of the men in the Del Rey Lagoon area of Playa Del Rey, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred just after 11 p.m. Sunday in the 6800 block of Esplanade Street, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.
The victim and suspect, both believed in their 20s, argued before the suspect produced a handgun and fired several shots at the victim, she said.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital where his condition was unknown, the dispatcher said. The suspect left the scene.
