A 37-year-old man who was fatally shot on a Bellflower street was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Hernan Nieves II was killed in the shooting that occurred around 5:40 p.m. Saturday.

The victim died at the scene at Curnuta Avenue and Flora Vista Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
There was no immediate word on a suspect or a possible motive for the killing, sheriff's officials said.
