Man shot and killed in Santa Ana

A 20-year-old man was shot to death Sunday morning in Santa Ana, authorities said.

Officers dispatched at about 12:30 a.m. to reports of a shooting in the area of Bristol Street and Memory Lane located Fernando Manuel Lopez lying in the southbound lanes of Bristol suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, the Santa Ana Police Department reported.

Paramedics pronounced the Santa Ana resident dead at the scene.
