As many as 15-million drivers who've traveled on Orange County toll roads in the past six years could be in line for some money. That’s according to a $200 million proposed settlement of a class-action lawsuit against the county’s transportation agencies.

The suit accuses the agencies of improperly charging some tolls and fees, in addition to sharing drivers' personal information with third parties.

The 73, 133, 241 and 261 toll roads, operated by The Transportation Corridor Agencies, are among the roads included in the suit. The 91 Free Express Lanes, operated by the OCTA, are also included, according to the O.C. Register.

People who are eligible to share in the settlement can get either small cash payments or the forgiveness of penalties or fees. Some 15 million people are expected to receive notices regarding the lawsuit.

The deadline to file a claim related to the settlement is Nov. 8, 2021.
