A man who was riding a black motorcycle during a police pursuit that reached speeds of 120 mph is in custody Thursday after he was arrested by California Highway Patrol officers in West Covina.
The pursuit began around 10:19 p.m Wednesday after CHP officers attempted to pull the suspect over on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Azusa Avenue. After refusing their commands, the suspect raced away at high speeds, continuing into the Pomona area before exiting the eastbound 10 freeway at North Garey Avenue, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
The suspect reentered the freeway before exiting the 10 again at Garvey and Hollenbeck avenues, where he was taken into custody by CHP officers.
Lough said the suspect was arrested and charged for felony evading.
