Traveling from Los Angeles to Anaheim by train could get easier under a new proposal.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority is considering a plan that would add a fourth track from L.A.’s Union Station to Fullerton, then use two tracks from Fullerton to Anaheim’s ARTIC station. The full journey is expected to take 46 minutes, the Orange County Register reports.

The expansion is estimated to cost over $6 billion. The Rail Authority is still discussing whether to build stations for the new track in Fullerton and Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs, which would add hundreds of millions to the construction costs.

The Rail Authority's board will hear a presentation on the proposal on Thursday.
