For one reason or another, former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher decided to slam Harry Styles and called his music “worthless.”

Gallagher took part in an interview with the Daily Star and opined that artists on the UK reality television music competition The X Factor found fame for reasons that have “nothing to do with music.”
“It's got nothing to do with music whatsoever, and anything that has come from that, that's got nothing to do with music,” he said. Of course, Styles and One Direction found fame on the show after making it to the semifinals in 2010.

The ex-Oasis guitarist went on to slam Styles’ songwriting ability and expressed disbelief in the idea that he could write a song. "You're not telling me Harry Styles is currently in a room somewhere writing a song,” he said.
"With any joy, he'll be surrounded by a lot of girls, I can assure you he's not got an acoustic guitar out trying to write a middle eight for something."
This isn’t the first time Gallagher has taken a shot at Styles. Back in 2017, Gallagher mocked Styles’ single “Sign Of The Times” and said that a “cat could have written in about 10 minutes.”
"People of my age have let themselves go, they're fat, balding idiots with fading tattoos,” he said.
"They sit in their garage and write s*** like 'Sign Of The Times' for Harry Styles. Which, quite frankly, my cat could have written in about 10 minutes!"
