Southern California’s pizza landscape will be on display at the 2nd Annual Pizza City Fest L.A. on April 27 and 28.

The two-day event at LA Live will feature more than thirty pizza makers across Southern California. Founder and curator Steve Dolinsky told KNX News’ Margaret Carrero that guests will see a lot of different pizza styles that are freshly baked.

“[There will be] Detroit, Sicilian, Roman, Neapolitan, artisan [styles],” he said. “ I think we've got one Chicago thin. I mean, there's just so many different styles to see and then just think about what we save you in terms of driving. We're bringing in Fat Lip from Corona. We're bringing in Bettina from Santa Barbara. We're bringing Tribute from San Diego to cover all that ground would take weeks.”

He said the festival gives pizzerias a chance to shine.

“I want these pizzerias to do what they're good at. I don't want to take them out of their box,” he said.

General admission tickets are $125, while VIP tickets are $200. Dolinsky said unlimited drinks, pizza, sides, dessert, classes, demos, and seminars, are included with the price of admission.
