Iconic Hollywood hot spot, Pink’s Hotdogs is back open today, after taking a two-month break during the COVID-19 surge.
Pink's owner, Richard Pink tells KNX they shut down because there was just too much COVID in the community and they wanted to protect their staff and customers. He said it’s gone down enough to reopen, with all the staff, no layoffs, and the same menu.
There will be more safety precautions, including plastic barriers in the outdoor dining area.
Sunday night Pink's announced the reopening with a tweet: "One more sleep! Pink's will be re-re-opening tomorrow (Monday) morning at 9:30 am! We can't wait to be back. Stop by and say HELLO!"
The legendary spot in Hollywood has been serving customers since 1939.
