LAPD officers responded to the campus to investigate, the school said in a tweet and an email to students.
“It was brought to our attention an hour ago by DPS,” said Officer Mike Lopez, according to Annenberg Media. “It’s still under investigation.”
School officials said the LAPD determined there was no credible threat around 5:15 p.m.
The university asked anyone who spotted suspicious activity or individuals to call 213-740-4321 or 911.
