Equestfest

Those interested in horses can check out Equestfest on Friday.

Candy Carlson with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses told KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian the event gives equestrians time to show off tricks that don’t make it into the parade.

“During the parade, they make 5.5 miles of just trotting down the road with a few tricks,” she said. “But during Equestfest, you get to see all of their amazing, shows that they do, whether it's roping or drill teams.”

The event will take place at 480 W. Riverside Dr. in Burbank, California. The gates open at 10 a.m. and the show starts 12:00-2:00pm.

Lululemon Run with the Roses 5K

Those looking to sprint into the New Year can participate in the Lululemon Run with the Roses 5K. The race kicks off at 11:59 p.m. on New Year’s Eve outside the Lululemon location on W Colorado Boulevard.

During the 5K, you’ll be able to go run along the Parade route.
