LOS ANGELES (KNX) — A powerful weather system, dubbed by the National Weather Service as "the most significant storm of the season" soaked Los Angeles and the wider Southern California region overnight.
The storm battered parts of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties before moving into the L.A. area early on Tuesday. Forecasters expect rainfall to remain heavey, accompanied by high winds and cold temperatures, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
