Teen killed in shooting in Azusa area

AZUSA (CNS) - A teenage boy was shot and killed in the Azusa area and authorities are continuing to investigate the crime today.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's San Dimas station responded to calls of a shooting at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of South Donna Beth Avenue, near Azusa Avenue and Arrow Highway.

The boy was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. His name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.

Deputies located an additional victim who sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body, and he was also taken to a hospital. He was in stable condition.
