Graduation ceremonies at USC are set to begin on Wednesday, nearly a couple of weeks after the school canceled its traditional main stage commencement ceremony.

The first graduation ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. The vasty majority of graduation ceremonies, however, will take place on Friday.

On Thursday, the school will hold the Trojan Family Graduate Celebration at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

“Count on drone shows, fireworks, surprise performances, the Trojan Marching Band, and a special gift just for the Class of 2024,”  according to the school’s announcement.

Each graduate will get up to six tickets for the event.

Security is expected to be tight at these graduation ceremonies. KNX News’ Jon Baird reported that graduates and their family members and friends who want to attend the ceremonies will need to have digital tickets to get in.

The individual graduation ceremonies come after a couple of weeks of unrest on the campus. On April 24, over 90 people were arrested after pro-Palestinian demonstrators refused to leave the campus. A day later, university officials announced the cancellation of the main stage commencement ceremony, citing “new safety measures.”

The encampment was taken down on Sunday and classes resumed on Monday.
