One band we've had the pleasure to follow along with throughout quarantine has been the L.A.-based trio Wallows. After getting to know the group in early 2019 with their hit "Are You Bored Yet?" featuring Clairo from their debut album Nothing Happens, we saw the guys capitalize on their momentum the best way possible as the lockdown hit by recording their quarantine EP, REMOTE.
"We never saw each other once before its completion," singer Dylan Minnette said upon its release in October 2020, explaining how a lot of voice notes and FaceTime calls got the job done. Now they're back with another at-home offering -- a deluxe version of REMOTE -- featuring three new songs and a new video to celebrate.

Directed by Nina Ljeti (Phoebe Bridgers, Crowded House), the music video for the new song "Quarterback" features Wallows members Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston shown in candid, home movie-style short clips.
The deluxe version of REMOTE features the EP's six original tracks, the new songs "Quarterback," "On Time" and "Another Story," as well as their previous stand-alone single "OK" and an "OK" remix featuring Remi Wolf and Solomonophonic. The remix serves as a musical reunion for Remi and Wallows, as Remi previously co-wrote “These Days” with the band for their Spring EP and lived in a house with drummer Cole while they both attended USC.
