“I’ve been trying to continue to move forward in so many different ways because I know I have a big responsibility and also a crazy opportunity and you can’t just take those things lightly,” notes the Tennessee native when discussing the fast-track his career is on.
The singer, born, Jaden Isaiah Hossler, knows that he wants to use his musical platform to touch other people and put out music that provides connection points for fans.
However, making music also helps Hossler continue to grow and understand different stages of his life.
He says, “making music helps me see like moments and times where I was at and being able to move forward from it. And also the progressiveness in my music makes me feel really comfortable. Every time I make a new song and I can see or hear myself better at whatever it is, it just encourages me so much.”
Using each of his singles as a gauge for success jxdn tells us that when he first released “Comatose” he felt that if his career wasn’t meant to take off his music simply would not “blow up.”
Now a year out from his first release and currently celebrating his debut record, Hossler shares that he can’t imagine doing the whole process any differently. The artist adds “I can’t imagine…if I would have gone with anyone different than Travis, if I would have used any different guitar player, I really think every decision I made was perfect bringing me to this point.”
Hossler noted that he focused on making music that will transcend his own lifetime. He isn’t in it to make hits, but rather to build a career that has longevity.
Influenced by JUICEWRLD, jxdn explains, “JUICEWRLD has thousands of songs, and that was one of the best parts about his legacy. He left us so much music, even after he passed.I just want to make music that people can play forever…even after I’m gone I want the music to live on…just because I’m making it for hope.”
