After the recent release of his self-titled album, YUNGBLUD isn’t missing a beat as he jumps into teasing a new project.

Ahead of his recent performance at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA the 25 year-old shared he’d be jet setting to Los Angeles immediately following his set to shoot the video for a “secret song” he shared would be out “very soon.”
“We’ve got a video shoot tomorrow for a secret song that’s coming out very soon,“ he told Audacy’s Dallas while talking about his busy schedule. “It’s a massive collaboration.”
While YUNGBLUD admits he’s dropped hints surrounding the upcoming collaboration before, he remained tight-lipped during the interview only sharing that the video would not require “bum shaking” skills like his recent video for “Tissues.”
“No choreography this time, but it’s a massive collaboration,” he said. “When that song [“Tissues”] came out… I just wanted to shake me ass. I just wanted to shake me bum and then I was like, ‘Let’s do some choreography — why not? I just want to move.’”
“Tissues” is included on YUNGBLUD’s most recent album, which he says marks the end of one chapter and the beginning a new one.
“For four years, I have been going everywhere, in a whirlwind, without thinking without reminiscing, without kind of saying anything at all,” he said. “I’ve just kind of been write and put out, write and put out, write and put it out and I just wanted to kind of put a flagpole in the ground be a be like, ‘YUNGBLUD,' everything up until now has been 'YUNGBLUD.' And everything from here will be different. This album is going to be a line in the sand going toward the next journey.”
In celebration of the studio album, YUNGBLUD has announced dates for the North American leg of his YUNGBLUD – THE WORLD TOUR which is set to begin in April 2023 on the West Coast, and he’s taking The Regrettes along for the ride.
