Dads will be dads.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of action star and former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, confirmed what we all secretly hoped: Arnold does in fact say famous catchphrases from his films in everyday life.

A lot.

During an appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show, the “Moxie” star, 27, was asked if his “Terminator” star dad uses famous lines from his films.

“Everybody asks that, they're like, ‘Does your dad always say his one-liners?’ And I'm like, ‘All the time,’” Patrick explained.

What about that most famous of Schwarzenegger lines? When Clarkson asked him if he says “I’ll be back” — which Arnold made famous in “The Terminator” — Patrick confirmed that, oh yes, that one’s getting thrown around.

“He'll turn back and be like, ‘I'll be back.’ I'll be like, ‘Dad, really?’” Patrick told the host with a laugh.

Clarkson told her guest that fans love it, even though he might personally be sick of it.

“I know, other people do,” said Patrick.

“But sometimes a little kid — like a 6-year-old — the dad will shove the kid to get an autograph from my dad or something. The kid probably has no idea who my dad is, and goes up and asks for something and my dad will just scream one of his one-liners at him and the kid is like, ‘What? I don't know what that is.’”

Patrick is the third of four children Schwarzenegger shares with ex-wife Maria Shriver. The two officially divorced in 2017 after announcing their split in 2011.

The others are sisters Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, 31, and Christina, 29, as well as younger brother Christopher, 23.

Schwarzenegger is also father to son Joseph, 23, who he shares with former housekeeper Mildred Baena.

In January, Schwarzenegger received the COVID-19 vaccine.

In a video shared to Twitter, he was seen getting a dose in his car in the drive-through vaccination site at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

And yes, the caption included another famous one-liner.

“Today was a good day,” he wrote. “I have never been happier to wait in a line. If you’re eligible, join me and sign up to get your vaccine. Come with me if you want to live!”
