It's looking as though COVID's long-term effects are continuing to put a thumb on Alt-rockers Jane's Addiction's lineup. Guitarist Dave Navarro is apparently still dealing with lingering symptoms from his bout with the virus, which began back in December, however, he assures fans he'll be back in the saddle at some point... he's just not sure when.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the Jane's Addiction ax-man said in a since-deleted Instagram post, "So yeah, I'm one of the ones who came down with the ‘long haul covid,'" adding that he has "been sick since December and supposedly will be back to my old self in… nobody knows how long."

In his post, Navarro empathized with everyone out there who has been struggling with what has been dubbed "long COVID" saying, "If there are any of you who are still suffering long after your negative results, I’m just saying you aren’t alone." He says, "The fatigue and isolation is pretty awful but try to spend your time with the ones you love and stay creative. That’s how I’m trying to get through this thing. Also lots of spiritual practices, meditation and yoga have been very helpful. I’ll be ok, just don’t know when."
Jane's Addiction was forced to bow out of this past weekend's Welcome To Rockville festival at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida due to Navarro's continued illness, paving the way for singer Perry Farrell's Porno For Pyros to fill in in their place. The band is still set to hit the road with The Smashing Pumpkins on their joint SPIRITS ON FIRE TOUR kicking off in October. Grab your tickets right HERE.
