When Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl isn’t cooking up hot licks, he can mainly be found grillin’ and chillin’ in parking lots far and wide while he helps feed the homeless in Los Angeles.

Just last week, Grohl was spotted smoking meats and helping to feed the less fortunate at a Los Angeles homeless shelter and this week he was at it again, volunteering with the non-profit Feed the Streets into the wee hours of the night and again the following morning to help with deliveries. Check out the awesome clip showing Dave and his team's selfless services below.
In the caption of their post, Feed The Streets explained how it all went down: "We’ve been trying to figure out ways to keep up with our activations and continue to put out 3,500 meals a month. It’s not an easy task, especially when several communities experiencing food insecurity rely on us for a decent meal five times a week." It goes on to say how the Foo Fighters frontman reached out to the non-profit, "on one of those wet and cold rainy days," with a wish to help out. "We threw him into an upcoming activation. He spent 18 hours straight smoking brisket, ribs and pork—with a cooking crew," code-named "Dolce & Gabana."
"They stayed up all night and into the sunrise," the post continues. "The next day [Dave] and his team, exhausted and sleep deprived—packed up the food and drove it to MacArthur Park. All they had to do was drop it off and leave, however they decided to stay and work the line—serve the BBQ with our crew until everyone at the park was fed. If that ain’t a hero we don’t know wtf is."
