Green Day just let everyone know that their breakout album Dookie – which recently received a massive 30th anniversary re-issue and it’s own front-to-back spot on their current tour – has sold even more copies, and is now officially certified Double-Diamond.

Billie Joe & Co.’s Dookie joins the RIAA's Most Diamond rankings along with Michael Jackson’s Thriller, AC/DC’s Back in Black, Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin IV, The Beatles’ White Album, Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, Shania Twain’s Come On Over, Hootie & The Blowfish’s Cracked Rear View, as well as two from the Eagles, a Billy Joel greatest hits release, and Garth Brooks' Double Live album.

The band was presented with the award by label and management team members during their sold-out show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium over the weekend.

“Thank you to everyone who has loved this album as much as we have over the past 30 years and to all of you who have made it possible to live out our dreams,” they wrote on social media sharing the news.

Green Day are currently on the road celebrating the 30th anniversary of Dookie -- as well as the 20th anniversary of 2004’s American Idiot -- on their sold-out SAVIORS stadium tour along with The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas.
