Just last month, reports surfaced that shock rocker Marilyn Manson was wanted by police in Gilford, New Hampshire after an arrest warrant was published for the singer stemming from two counts of alleged simple assault during an incident involving a videographer and some spit at one of his concerts in August of 2019.

The latest development, police say, is that Manson whose real name is Brian Warner is expected to turn himself into the Los Angeles Police Department to face two counts of Class A Misdemeanor Simple Assault after reaching an agreement with his lawyers.

According to Manson’s lawyer Howard King, a videographer hired by a venue in the state had asked for more than $35,000 “after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm. After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply.” King said the claims were "ludicrous" and said he and his client "remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout."

"We have been in a holding pattern," Gilford, NH Police Chief Tony Burpee said in a statement regarding the latest developments, adding that his department's prosecutor will forward the warrant to detectives in L.A. who will then arrange a date for Manson to surrender himself. "We are simply looking for Mr. Warner to turn himself in on the active warrant so that we can proceed."

"If Mr. Warner turns himself in within the next few weeks, his initial appearance/arraignment will likely be scheduled for mid-August," Burpee said.

Of course, these are not the latest in a series of charges leveled against the musician. Manson has been accused of abuse by multiple women, including his exes Esme Bianco who accused him of sexual assault, sexual battery, and human trafficking as well as actress Evan Rachel Wood who alleged Manson abused her for years. Again, Manson denies any wrongdoing but has since been dropped from his record label and has become a pariah even in circles he once felt safe.
