Things have come to an unplanned halt on Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s Love Earth Tour after members were reported ill.

While details surrounding the illness and how many people suffered were kept under wraps, Young took to his website to inform fans of the change in plans. “When a couple of us got sick after Detroit’s Pine Knob, we had to stop,” Young wrote. “We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break. We will try to play some of the dates we miss as time passes when we are ready to rock again!”
He concluded, “We know many of you made travel plans and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding and patience. Health is # 1.”
Included in the show cancellations are seven shows throughout July that were scheduled in Canada in addition to three U.S. shows scheduled for September.
