After a video went viral last week showing a grandma rocking out to Shinedown's "Sound Of Madness," the band has paid tribute to their "most famous concert attendee" in the nicest way.

Originally uploaded to TikTok by Shinedown's photographer, Sanjay Parikh, the clip has racked up millions of views on both TikTok and Instagram, leading the band to respond kindly to their biggest fan, Lauri Norris.

Many of you have asked and here’s living proof!!!,” the band captioned an Instagram post showing singer Brent Smith’s in-person meeting with “”the legend herself" while on last year’s The Revolutions Live Tour, where Lauri explains she’s been following the group for two decades. Smith also posted a duet video with him rocking out to Norris' rocking out. Adorably meta.

Lauri made a few posts herself about her viral fame, saying in one clip she, “just wanted to take a minute to say how humbled and empowered [she's] been by all of your gracious comments... All I can say is: Get out there, live your best life, live your dreams, rock on, and hope to see you on the road.”

On Wednesday (1/10), Smith welcomed Norris to a candid conversation on the band's Instagram Live. It just goes to show -- you never know who's gonna catch you headbanging on the barricade. Rock on, indeed.
