U2 has added another eight dates to their upcoming Las Vegas residency at the tech-focused venue Sphere, set to kick off at the end of September, keeping the party going into mid-December.

Although the band is not exactly calling this a "residency" in the traditional sense, it does look like U2 will be in Sin City for most of the back end of 2023. “I mean, it’s a run of shows, for sure, but it’s not like we’re having to move to Vegas for the year,” guitarist The Edge said when announcing the initial itinerary in late April. “Because of the size of the venue, the scope of this run will be probably a maximum of six weeks.”
After posting additional dates last week due to high demand, the band has added another eight nights to their first run of live shows in nearly four years, all in December, taking the total number to 25. “It’s the venue and it’s the technology that is really the catch for us and the hook.” The Edge told Variety.
