Most major airlines are requiring passengers to wear face masks at this time, and some airlines are taking it a step further by adding additional safety measures.
United, Alaska and Frontier airlines are requiring that passengers fill out a pre-flight health questionnaire.
ABC10 reports that the questionnaire asks people whether they've been feeling symptoms or have come in contact with anyone that's had COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
Companies hope to improve the safety of their flights and help stop the spread of COVID-19 with this new protocol.
