California relaxes criteria for counties to move to Phase 2

California moves another step forward in trying to get our economy back to normal as Governor Newsom announced that California is relaxing some of its criteria for cities and counties to reopen.

Previously for a county to move on to stage 2 of reopening, the criteria said that a county must have zero deaths and no more than one case per 10,000 residents over 2 weeks... now its been relaxed to hospitalization rates not increasing more than 5% over a week and less than 25 cases per 100,000 residents over 2 weeks.  So far California's hospitalization numbers have gone down 7.5% over the last 2 weeks.

Also Newsom said that it looks like sports will be able to begin again starting in June, as long as there is no fans in the stands and its limited to the players and staffs only.
