In 2020 we fell in love with the Voices of Our City Choir after they earned the golden buzzer on America's Got Talent. This amazing group led by Steph Johnson, is composed of members who are experiencing homelessness in the San Diego area. Members of the choir develop renewed hope, personal empowerment, and the life skills to achieve their goals through this group. Since 2017, the nonprofit has impacted the lives of over 275 unsheltered people, connected 30 adults to employment, facilitated more than 90 moves into safe shelter, and reached millions more in over 100 public performances.
This Saturday night, they will be joined by fellow AGT contestant Wyn Starks at The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla for a special benefit concert to help raise money so they can continue their important work. CLICK HERE for more information and to buy tickets.
