Honor Flight San Diego is an amazing organization that helps get veterans of foreign wars to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials made in their honor. Now for the first time, they are inviting Vietnam veterans for this fall's flight. The group they are starting with are the Navy HAL-3 Seawolves! They are the most decorated Navy Squadron in the Vietnam War, and in all of Naval Aviation History. We talked to one of those heroes this morning about what the men in his squadron accomplished and what it will mean for them to go to D.C.
