The "Dadication" campaign encourages fathers to play an active role in their kids' lives

Parenting isn’t always easy even in the best circumstances, and acknowledging the efforts dads put forth in the face of hardships can provide them reassurance to keep going. As we return to more activities outside the home, it’s important for dads everywhere to maintain the deep connections fostered during recent extended time together and keep playing an active role in their children’s lives.

This Father’s Day, the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse is reminding fathers everywhere to never stop being a dad to their kids, even when it’s hard, with their new “#Dadication” campaign, developed in partnership between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families (ACF), the NRFC, and the Ad Council, and encourages all fathers to play an active role in their children’s lives.

In this interview, Patrick Patterson, Manager of the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse, and Joseph Stiltner, a dad featured in the PSA, discuss the "Dadication" campaign.
