As the world begins to rebound from a year of tragedy and challenge, crises that existed before haven't gone away. In fact, some issues may have taken a troubling turn. Have we made any progress in the opioid crisis or has it exponentially worsened over the last year-plus?
Nicky Snazell is a pain specialist and physiotherapist who focuses her three practices on alternative medicine treatments, and says that the last year has seen a spike in opioid usage, with patients seeking extra medication as a result of not being able to leave the house or see a doctor.
