Jameson Rodgers asked singer-songwriter Sarah Allison Turner to marry him last year at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, where they had first met nine years prior. Now, the couple is in the throes of wedding planning, although Jameson is smart enough to let his future wife handle most of that.
"Wedding planning is tough!" he confesses in a statement from his label. "I mean, this is all new to me obviously. And you know, we're getting married in September, so it's right around the corner, really. It'll be here before we know it, and so it's it's a it's a million little things you have to do that I'm learning about.
"Sarah's obviously handling the majority of it, and I feel terrible about but that's how she prefers it, you know," the "Some Girls" singer continues. "So I'm just gonna get to show up. You know, I have to just look good that day." And then he reconsiders. "I don't really have to look good that day. Nobody's even gonna be worried about me. It's really gonna be a big party for me, honestly.
"Yeah, wedding planning is stressful, but it'll all be worth it when we get there."
