On Halloween, we celebrate ghouls and gore, so what better time to talk about blood? Giving blood, that is – and not to a vampire or zombie. The San Diego Blood Bank supplies hospitals in four Southern California counties, including San Diego, Imperial, Orange, and Los Angeles. They’re also the primary provider of blood to Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, and right now, there is a severe shortage of blood products, and eligible donors are urged to donate.
