The San Diego Food Bank and our Summer Food Drive partners, Albertsons/Vons, PNC Bank, Sycuan, KFMB CBS 8 & The CW, the San Diego Union Tribune, and KSON, will host a morning Day to Donate LIVE drive-thru food drive at the Vons supermarket located on Murphy Canyon Road.
The public will be invited to donate monetary gifts and/or nonperishable food items at the drive-thru food drive in the parking lot from 5:30 a.m. to 12 noon at Murphy Canyon Vons.
Volunteers and food drive partners will be stationed in the Vons’ parking lot to collect donations. Donations can be made in the drive-thru by community members bringing food to donate or to make cash donations.
