Across our region and across the country, homelessness remains one of the most urgent challenges of our time. But one local organization is working to change the conversation from temporary fixes to lasting solutions.
Townspeople has launched a new campaign called Fund Housing, End Homelessness—an effort to educate the public, mobilize supporters, and raise $250,000 to expand permanent housing programs and supportive services.
With federal cuts to housing programs and a growing need here at home, Townspeople is calling on the community to step up and be part of the solution. Melissa Peterman, Executive Director of Townspeople, discusses this campaign, what permanent housing really means, and how each of us can help move from managing homelessness to ending it.
