Perry, formerly one-third of sibling trio The Band Perry, has officially arrived as a solo artist with the release of her debut EP, Bloom, on June 9. Currently 7-months pregnant, Perry says the album is a direct reflection of where she is at in several aspects of her life.
The lead single for BLOOM is, “If I Die Young Pt. 2,” a sequel to The Band Perry’s 2010 single, “If I Die Young,” which went #1 in December of the same year.
The debut EP will be followed by a second EP planned for the Fall/Winter.
