Wed 8.30.23: Hurricane Idalia makes landfall north of Steinhatchee, near Keaton Beach in Taylor County around 7:45 this morning, with maximum sustained winds of 125mph. Idalia is forecast to maintain its hurricane strength as it moves north-northeast over southern Georgia and coastal South Carolina and into the southwestern Atlantic.
