Taylor Swift is in her winning and making history era. Tuesday night she practically swept the MTV VMAs with an impressive nine wins. Tying her for most wins in one night and achieving the second most wins overall, this feat was so important that the network hired a camera operator to focus solely on Taylor throughout the show.

The "Anti-Hero" singer took home nine wins in the categories: 'Video of the Year,' 'Artist of the Year,' 'Song of the Year' 'Best Pop,' 'Best Direction,' 'Best Cinematography,' 'Best Visual Effects,' 'Show of the Summer,' and 'Album of the Year.'
She made history last year as well by becoming the first person to win the coveted 'Video of the Year' award three times, and now this year makes four.
According to Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh, Taylor's importance to award shows is undeniable. Sharing a video to X (formerly known as Twitter) of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion performing their newest collaboration "Bongos," you can see a cameraman filming Taylor's dancing and her reactions to the debut performance.
“How important is Taylor Swift to the #VMAs?” he wrote. “There is a camera operator tasked with filming her continuously during the live performances onstage.”
Several clips of Tay Tay enjoying the performances, blowing a kiss to Måneskin frontman Damiano David, cheering for Selena Gomez, and fangirling over *NSYNC, and just her enjoying her winning era have been surfacing all over social media.
