Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A man and woman are dead, and a suspect is in custody, after a shooting inside a Las Vegas grocery store on Tuesday morning.
Las Vegas Metro Police say that just before noon, a man walked into a Smith’s at Silverado Ranch and Maryland Parkway and shot the pair, then calmly exited the store.
As he was walking out, the man was subdued by several people until police came to take him into custody.
The victims, a man and woman in their 40s, died at the scene.
Police said that the suspect and the female victim had a prior relationship, and were going through a messy custody battle over children. The male victim was believed to have been dating the woman.
No other people were hurt.
