Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - – Even though spring doesn’t officially begin until Friday, the Valley’s first taste of triple digit heat this year is coming. In preparation for possibly record-setting temperatures, Clark County is opening up a number of so-called “cooling stations” where people can beat the heat.
The stations will be open Thursday through Sunday, with high temps hovering in the mid to upper 90s each day.
Clark County is under an Extreme Heat Warning through Sunday night, but highs are forecast to remain in the 90s through at least the early part of next week.
