Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Charter Communications, the parent company of Spectrum, has officially finalized its $34.5 billion acquisition of Cox Communications transitioning all Southern Nevada Cox customers to the Spectrum brand.

The completed merger forms the largest broadband and video provider in the United States, expanding Spectrum’s footprint across 45 states and absorbing Cox's 6 million subscribers.

While the customer-facing brand is shifting to Spectrum, the parent corporate entity will actually take on the Cox Communications name within the next year.

If you are an existing Cox customer in Clark County (including Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City), your current service plan will not change right now unless you choose to change it. Your bills will begin reflecting the Spectrum name.
