Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A man charged with shooting a killing an elderly woman who was out for a morning walk early Tuesday will stay in jail after a judge denied him bail on Wednesday.
Devion Teague is charged with murdering the woman during a robbery attempt in a neighborhood near Fort Apache and Flamingo. The victim was out for a walk with a second woman. That woman wasn’t hurt.
Las Vegas Metro Police announced Teague’s arrest on Wednesday. They were able to link Teague to the shooting from surveillance video that showed Teague leaving in a car that had been reported stolen the day before the shooting.
The person who was the owner of the car had been previously married to Teague. Teague’s phone location records also put him near the scene of the murder.
