Las Vegas, NV (KXNT)- In another sign of better business for Las Vegas, McCarran Airport officials said yesterday that the Terminal 1 economy lot would reopening.
The lot will reopen Wednesday morning a 7. It’s been closed since early January due to reduced travel demand. It’s estimated the airport saved around $30,000 a month by closing the lot during the slow travel period.
In other news involving McCarran, the airport could be getting a University Medical Center clinic.
The Clark County Commission will decide on a five-year lease for a clinic outside of the secured portion of Terminal 1. The lease would cost UMC about 31-hundred dollars per month.
The clinic would provide primary urgent care, medical screenings and other functions. The lease would come with an additional five-year option.
