Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Passenger traffic at Reid International Airport continues to lag compared to last year’s figures, according to new numbers released Wednesday by the Clark County Department of Aviation.

4.4 million passengers came through Reid in July, a 7.6% decline from July of 2025.

A rebound in international visitors was offset by a drop in domestic passengers, which saw a nearly 9% drop from July of last year. Analysts say that that can partially be blamed on Spirit Airlines ceasing operations earlier this year.

Total passenger volume for the first seven months of 2026 reached 30.2 million, down 6.7% compared to 2025.

Southwest Airlines remains the dominant carrier into and out of Reid International, followed by Frontier, which seems to have absorbed some of the share of passengers from Spirit’s exit.

Delta, American, and United rounded out the top 5.
