Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Strat Hotel and Casino has been given permission to expand to 100 percent capacity on its gaming floor.

That decision was handed down Monday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The Strat joins Wynn Las Vegas, the Encore, and the Cosmopolitan as resorts that have been given the go ahead to operate at 100 percent.

Resorts have had to show proof that their employees have been receiving their coronavirus vaccinations before the capacity limit expansion is granted. Plexiglass barriers will be taken down in the gaming area and social distancing rules will be eased.

What stays is the mask mandate. Guests and employees will still have to wear face coverings per the mandate issued by Governor Steve Sisolak
