With former President Donald Trump continuing to tease another run at the Oval Office, one popular conservative talk show host is asking why he should get another shot at a second term in the White House.
Tara Servatius of the Tara Show believes Trump’s poor judgment and too-late attempts to stop the Democrats at the ballot box prove he needs to step aside and let someone else take the lead for the G.O.P.
“Trump failed absolutely and utterly to combat the voter fraud by the Democrats,” Servatius said. “He has failed in the years since. He has gotten absolutely nowhere on it except for… a few small things in Arizona and other places. They are gonna slap run him over, and the Republican leadership is gonna let them.”
“Whoever does it by themselves is going to have to combat these people going into the election, and I don’t trust Trump to do it because he’s already failed,” she added. “But I’ve seen Ron DeSantis do it in Florida.”
Servatius said the track record the Florida governor has put together battling fraud in his home state makes him the obvious choice for 2024.
“I think whoever is the party nominee for the Republicans has to do more [and do it] better than any candidate in history has ever done,” she said. “And that person cannot sluff off to a Jared Kushner… you cannot sluff off the part where you prevent the Democrats from stealing the election to a Democrat whose father is so corrupt he’s in prison.”
