Taco Bell wants to make sure that you’re not going hungry.
As the chain is known for its tacos, Taco Bell is now giving food lovers the power to create their own combo meals.
Taco Bell announced the new $5 "Build Your Own Cravings Box.” The new deal is available on the app for reward members starting on February 2. Other digital customers can build their box beginning February 11.

There are 18 different types of the limited-time box available for app or web and pay-ahead orders. If you are a vegetarian, you can pick beans for your protein.
“As we see it, there aren’t a lot of choices out there when it comes to value, forcing customers to play by others’ rules,” Nikki Lawson, Taco Bell’s chief global brand officer, said. “But when your fans have different favorites on the menu, why not celebrate that?”
Lawson also shared that Taco Bell is putting “fans in the driver’s seat and allow them to eat how they want to eat, not how someone, irrespective of how famous they may be, tells them to.”
While Taco Bell offers sweet deals, fans aren’t always happy at the franchise.
After taco lovers voiced concerns, the chain announced that its bringing potato items back to the menu beginning March 11, 2021. The potatoes were booted from Taco Bell's menu in August.
Both the Spicy Fiesta Soft Taco & Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes will return.
Taco Bell faced backlash in 2020 when they streamlined their menu and got rid of potato items, which upset many vegetarians. A protest was even held outside of a San Diego location over the menu change.
