Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Primm Valley Casino in Primm officially reopens under new management by Las Vegas-based Terrible's
The state-line casino destination along Interstate 15 was saved from a permanent July 4 shutdown after a last-minute partnership was struck between the landowner, the Primm family, and Terrible's
The property re-launches with 422 gaming machines, 250 hotel rooms, and a William Hill Sports Book.
In addition, Terrible's has waived all resort fees and is matching the previously earned rewards tiers of returning customers. A 24/7 quick-bites eatery and a sports bar are open immediately. Work is also underway to add a coffee bar, a steakhouse, and a 24-hour casual dining cafe.
The takeover by Terrible's not only saved over 300 regional jobs, but preserved local employee housing at the Oasis Apartments.
As far as the rollout for the rest of Primm:
Buffalo Bill's remains closed for now but is expected to reopen strictly for special events pending a life-safety review of the Desperado roller coaster.
Whiskey Pete's remains closed indefinitely, but its 18-slot gas station continues to operate.
The Lotto Store & Flying J truck stop both remain open under the transition.
